Hello there, I’m Alan Grant. I’m a paleontologist and a good one. Just so you know, a paleontologist is a person who studies fossils of dinosaurs. I just love dinosaurs so I became a paleontologist. Being a paleontologist takes a little hard work. I work for the rich millionaire John Hammond, he also loves dinosaurs. I have a partner named Ellie Sattler, Doctor Ellie Sattler, she is a good friend too. She is a Paleobotanist which is a person who studies plants about a million years ago but she also helps me discover fossils. A fax just came and it’s a picture of a lizard that lived millions of years ago. Both Ellie and me were shocked when we saw that picture. Then one day, I and Ellie got invited by John Hammond to go to his island, Isla Nublar or Cloud Island. Looking at the map sent by Hammond, it sure looks interesting yet at the same time awkward. Ellie said it looks like an enormous zoo. I wonder if Hammond had anything to do with the compsognathus found on Cabo Blanco beach in Costa Rica. I’m so curious about the island, I can’t wait to go there.
